Interior Design Studio
Ali Hamilton Interiors
PROJECT STORYLINE:
ACT 1: The Set-Up
Ali Hamilton Interiors is a high-end interior design studio established in 2004, known for its focus on high-spec residential projects. Initially, they used the founder’s signature as the logo to convey an informal, approachable vibe.
ACT 2: The Challenge
As their work and reputation grew, they recognized the need for a more professional logo and visual identity to support their expanding marketing efforts. They wanted a design that maintained the original name’s prominence while reflecting their evolution.
ACT 3: The Resolution
Based on insights from a detailed client questionnaire, I crafted a clear and crisp logo integrating the initials ‘A H I.’
Key elements included growth, strength with a feminine touch, three supportive legs representing the foundational ethos, and an upward arrowhead signifying progress.
Using a single letter as the foundation, I built a strong identity that embodies their brand values.

Logo Design | Process
Ali Hamilton Interiors is a high-end interior design studio that was established in 2004.
Their work over the years has been predominantly for high-spec residential projects and at the outset, they utilised their founders’ signature as the logomark with the aim of presenting an informal, approachable feel to the business.
As their work and reputation have developed, the need for a more broad-ranging, professional logo, and visual identity has been identified, allowing their marketing activity to expand in line with the growth of the business and beyond.
Keeping the original element of the founders’ name predominant, the logo was to be based upon a number of factors taken from a detailed questionnaire completed by the client prior to any design work.
The client wanted a clear, crisp, prominent logo that would integrate the following elements:
The initials of the company, ‘A H I’.
Growth.
Strength with a feminine touch.
Three legs that support the foundational ethos of the business.
An upward pointing arrowhead signifying positive, progressive, productive
I decided to use a single letter as the foundation for the logo and build from there.
Here’s a little insight into the logo design process.
